Delivery Information

This page provides a quick summary of our delivery arrangements. Please see Clause 5 of our full Terms & Conditions for the complete delivery provisions.

Delivery Lead Times

• In-stock Goods: typically delivered within up to 2 weeks.
• Made-to-order Goods: typically delivered within 4 to 6 weeks.
• Orders containing both in-stock and made-to-order Goods will normally be delivered together once the complete Order is ready, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

All lead times and delivery dates are estimates and may vary depending on stock availability, production schedules, delivery capacity, and circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Delivery Charges

Standard delivery charges for Orders weighing up to 1,000kg are:

• Zone A – Core Delivery Zone: £170 excluding VAT.
• Zone B – Extended Mainland Zone: £260 excluding VAT.
• Zone C – Long-Distance Mainland Zone: £330 excluding VAT.
• Zone D – Special Delivery Zone: Price quoted individually.

Orders exceeding 1,000kg and deliveries requiring ferry transport or special arrangements are quoted individually. The applicable delivery charge will be confirmed before the Order is completed.

Delivery Access

The Buyer must provide a complete and accurate delivery address and notify the Seller of any access restrictions before dispatch.

Access routes should generally be suitable for commercial delivery vehicles measuring up to approximately 2.4 metres wide and 3 metres high.

The Buyer must notify the Seller of narrow roads, low bridges, weight restrictions, soft ground, steep inclines, overhead obstructions, access controls, or anything else that could affect delivery.

If the property is difficult to locate, the Buyer should provide a Google Maps pin or What3Words reference.

Delivery & Unloading

• Deliveries are kerbside only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Deliveries are normally completed by a single driver.
• Where mechanical unloading equipment is not available, the Buyer must provide sufficient labour to unload the Goods safely.
• The Buyer should notify the Seller before delivery if a forklift, telehandler, or other suitable unloading equipment is available on site.
• Drivers are not required to move Goods into buildings, gardens, rear access areas, upper floors, or specific installation locations.
• Packaging will remain at the delivery location and must be disposed of by the Buyer.

Inadequate access or unloading assistance may result in delays, a failed delivery, additional delivery charges, storage charges, or re-delivery charges.

Delivery Updates & Delays

Delivery confirmation is normally issued by email and/or SMS once the Goods are ready for dispatch. Delivery bookings and final scheduling information are typically confirmed between 1 and 7 days before delivery.

Estimated arrival times are provided for guidance only and may change due to traffic, weather, road closures, vehicle breakdowns, operational requirements, or other circumstances outside the Seller’s reasonable control.

Inspection Upon Delivery

The Buyer must inspect the Goods and verify all quantities before signing the delivery documentation.

• Any missing items, shortages, or delivery discrepancies must be reported to the driver and recorded on the delivery documentation before it is signed.
• Any visible transport damage must be reported to the driver and recorded on the delivery documentation before acceptance.
• Any defect that should have been apparent upon reasonable inspection must be reported to the Seller in writing within 48 hours of delivery.
• Any alleged manufacturing defect that could not reasonably have been identified at delivery must be reported in writing, with supporting photographs, within 14 days of delivery and before the Goods are installed, cut, coated, modified, or otherwise processed.

Delivery documentation signed without any noted shortage or discrepancy will confirm that the Goods were delivered in full.

Failed Deliveries

Additional storage, handling, transport, or re-delivery charges may apply if delivery cannot be completed because:

• The Buyer or their representative is unavailable to accept delivery.
• Sufficient unloading assistance has not been provided.
• Access is unsuitable or unsafe.
• Access restrictions were not disclosed.
• Agreed unloading equipment is unavailable.
• Delivery is refused without lawful justification.

Collection of Goods

Collection is available by prior arrangement. The Buyer or their nominated carrier must arrive with a suitable vehicle, inspect the Goods, and confirm all quantities before leaving the collection point.

Timber Tolerances & Natural Characteristics

Timber is a natural material. Variations in colour, grain, knots, texture, finish, dimensions, and movement are normal.

Finished dimensions are nominal and, unless otherwise stated in writing, tolerances of up to ±5mm in width and ±2mm in thickness may apply.

Correct storage, handling, ventilation, installation, fixing, and maintenance are essential.
